Cabinet has approved the Gaming (Forms & Fees) Regulations 2009 for the facilitation of the licensing mechanism under the Gaming Decree 2009.Cabinet based its decision on a submission by the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Anti-Corruption, Public Enterprises, Tourism, Trade and Communications, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said that the Regulations provide three standard forms; application form for Class 1 gaming (where all proceeds go to charity); application form for Class 2 gaming (for commercial gain), and, licence format for all licences.
